National Gallery of Ireland

National Gallery of Ireland

Aloysius O'Kelly: "Mass in a Connemara Cabin" (1883)

Two pictures above: Yeats, an Irish painter

Don't forget to visit the National Gallery of Ireland if you are keen on Irish art and if you want to discover Yeats, a well-known painter. This exhibition - located near to the Merrion Square - reflects the taking stock and an exhibition celebrating the Dutch seventeenth-century artist Gabriel Metsu.

  1. Hi, I didn't know that they had so many paintings by great painters such as Vermeer, Rembrandt... I went today to the museum. Nice exhibition but need to be seen in several times ;-)

  2. hi
for me, the national gallery is not an amazing place to go except if you're crazy about paintings. I prefered the national museum for history and archeology :)
